Lauren D’Amato, 20, was killed in a fatal car accident that occurred on November 28, 2010, around 4:45a.m. in Yorktown Heights, New York. According to Yorktown Fire Chief Martin McGannon, D’Amato was driving a 1995 Honda Accord southbound on Hanover Street when she lost control and struck two trees near California Road.
Malinda Michaelis Watson, 59, was killed in a fatal San Bernardino County car accident that occurred on November 23, 2010, in the High Desert east of Barstow in San Bernardino County, approximately 96 miles from San Diego. According to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office, Watson’s Chrysler minivan was traveling west on Interstate 40 just east of Downtown Barstow when it drifted onto the right shoulder and then rolled down an embankment.
